As part of Bike to Work Week, SI is partnering with CDOT’s Make Way for People program, a rapidly-expanding initiative enabling communities to open up public ways such as streets, parking spots, plazas and alleys to promote safer and more walkable communities.

Two bike tours visiting these new “People Spots” will depart from the McDonald’s Bike Center on the north end of Millennium Park. One tour will ride down the lakeshore to Bronzeville, and the other will travel north through Lakeview and Andersonville.
